Knife Life

Case Bowie Knives

Case is one of the oldest knife companies in the United States; it’s been around since 1889. Lots of you knife addicts probably recognize the name Case pretty quickly, so I wanted to show you a couple of Case Bowie knives that are pretty sweet.

This is the Case Presentation Hunter Bowie. I really like it because it’s not often you see a Bowie with such a light-colored blade. The brass guard and pins also add quite a bit of class to the knife. The handle is 4.75 inches long and is made of white polymer. The actual blade is quite a bit longer—9.5 inches. The overall length of this Bowie is 14.25 inches and it weighs 1 pound and 4 ounces, so it’s a heavier blade. While this knife can withstand hard use, it’s also a beautiful knife that would make a great addition to your knife collection and elicit oohs and ahhs from your friends. This knife is handcrafted in the USA.

Case USMC Combat Knife Marine Corps Fixed Blade

This is another great Case Bowie, but as you can tell it’s very different than the Case you see above. This one is more traditional in its appearance, and it’s also a very beautiful blade. It is 12 inches long overall and has a 7-inch blade.  It weighs 10.2 ounces and has a carbon steel blade and a leather handle. If you tend to lean toward traditional-style Bowies, then this Case Bowie is right up your ally.

These are just a couple of the Bowie knives that Case has to offer, but you should check out everything else the company has to offer!
